    Bio

    Omri Shmueli is a postdoctoral fellow at the CIS Lab, NTT Research, hosted by Mark Zhandry, and will join the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Fall 2026. He completed his PhD at the Blavatnik School of Computer Science, Tel Aviv University, advised by Nir Bitansky and Zvika Brakerski. His research lies at the intersection of quantum computation and cryptography — spanning quantum money, quantum signatures, and post-quantum cryptography — and has been recognized with the Best Paper Award at CRYPTO 2025 and the Best Student Paper Award at QIP 2022.
